MilStache is military life written by people who have lived it and are willing to be honest about it.

That means the parts nobody briefs you on: the unwritten rules of military social life, what a PCS move actually looks like from orders to fully unpacked, how to survive a military ball without causing an incident, and the particular frustration of explaining military time zones to your civilian in-laws who still do not quite get it. It also means the deeper stuff — what life after the military actually involves, and why the transition is harder than most people who have not done it understand.

There is enough polished, sanitized military content out there. MilStache is not that.
